Profibus-DP Communication Card Installation
Power supply connection
Power supply method 1: Insert EX-CA06 to the frequency converter control board extension interface(CN3).
Power supply method 2: The “+24V” terminal of EX-CA06 should be connected to "+24V" terminal of the frequency converter control board; The “COM” terminal of EX-CA06 should be connected to “COM” terminal of the frequency converter control board.
Communication signal connection
The “485+” terminal of EX-CA06 should be connected to “485+” terminal of the frequency converter control board; The “485-” terminal of EX-CA06 should be connected to “485-” terminal of frequency converter control board; The “GND” terminal of EX-CA06 should be connected to “GND” terminal of the frequency converter control board.
Note: Twisted pair cable should be used.
The connection method is serial connection. The DB9 connector at both ends are only connected to A1, B1, and the terminal resistor is on. The terminal resistor at intermediate node of the network is off. A1, B1, A2, B2 are all wired.
